Harry Reynolds

Reynolds ruled the Beacon Journal Tournament Class A competition for several years and won the 1969 Brunswick Bowling Corp. singles championship and the 1971 Peterson Bowling Classic singles title to earn national attention. Reynolds competed in the Akron Coca Cola Traveling League with the likes of PBA Hall of Famer and 1985 SCSHOFer Tom Hudson, and Bill White and Boss Bosco, both members of the SCSHOF. Since 1968, Reynolds has maintained a 200-plus average. He’s bowled four 300 games, a high average of 222 and high series of 797. Reynolds was named to the Beacon Journal All Star Team in 1974, and ’75. The father of Akron native and former Olympian Butch Reynolds, Harry is retired from General Tire and makes his home in Akron.
