Larry Nance

A 1981 graduate of Clemson University, where he is a member of the Hall of Fame. Was second-team All-ACC and honorable mention All-American in 1981. Drafted in the 1st round by the Phoenix Suns, where he played seven seasons. He was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and played another 6+ seasons. He made three All-Star game appearances, was voted to the All-Defensive Team (second team) twice and holds Cavs record for most blocked shots in a game with 11. Was the winner of the NBA's first Slam Dunk contest. Had his number – 22 – retired by the Cavaliers on Jan. 30, 1995.
